Art Prints

What paper is used for art prints?

Our art prints are made from museum-quality poster made on high quality heavier-weight, premium semi-glossy paper or thick long-lasting matte (uncoated) paper (200 gsm / 80 lb). Our paper is responsibly sourced FSC certified paper from sustainably managed forests. The inks used are of archival quality with tremendous durability and  fade resistance.

Do you have this print available in larger sizes?

The sizes available for each print will be listed in the product description. Not every print is available in larger sizing, due to the resolution of the original artwork. Increasing the size of some artworks could compromise the quality of the print.

I've received my print, why are the colours different?

The colours may slightly differ due to your monitor's display. We have made every effort to display the colours of the artworks as accurately as possible. However, the actual colours you see will depend on your computer or device settings. We cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate. 

Can I order a custom-sized print?

We do not offer custom-sized prints. Under each print, you can see the different available sizes and prices.

I'm having trouble choosing a print, can you help?

Yes, we certainly can! Please contact us or alternatively email us a photo of the room you wish to hang the print to hello@milkshakeliving.com.

Framing

What framing options are available?

Our frames are made from natural wood and are available in black, white, natural or dark wood. We use Shatterproof, transparent plexiglass, which is a lighter and safer option for hanging on walls. The frame thickness is 20-25 mm /0.79"–0.98" and for the USA market thickness is 1.9 cm/0.75".

Do framed prints come ready-to-hang?

All framed art prints come Ready-to-hang. The print is placed within the frame, packaged and shipped to you, so you can hang it directly on your wall. Our frames come with a hanging kit that allows mounting them both horizontally and vertically, depending on the orientation of your print.

There is a pre-attached bracket on the back panel of the frame which can be used to mount the frame on a wall. Depending on the size, some frames might have the hanging kit included separately in a small plastic bag, not attached to the frame.

How are the frames packaged?

The prints are placed within frames prior to packaging. The frames come pre-packed with corners and wrap and then packed in a box with strong edges to protect the frames. I-beams are used in addition, to give the package additional sturdiness and for multi-item orders (max 3 frames in one package).

Can I order custom sized frames?

We currently do not offer custom sized frames. Under each print, you can see the different available sizes and prices.

Is it possible to change the print in the frame?

Yes! Simply open the metal hinges on the back of the frame to open it and change the print.

How do I hang a frame?

There is a bracket pre-attached on the back panel of the frame which can be used to mount the frame on a wall. All frames have two brackets on their back and let you choose whether to hang the frame as a landscape or portrait. 

Some frames might have the hanging kit included separately in a small plastic bag, not attached to the frame. In such a case, you would have to use the screws provided to attach it to the back panel.

We advise using screws, hangers or plugs that are suitable for your specific wall and the weight of the frame being hung.

Can I buy or use my own frames?

Yes, you certainly can! Please just remember to use glass, transparent plexiglass or perspex/acrylic to provide the ultimate protection for your print.

Orders + Shipping

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Most of our products are made to order. Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be dispatched. Once your order has been shipped, the estimated delivery time is 5-10 business days (depending on your local postal service).

How will I know when my item/s have been shipped?

You will be sent an email once your item has been shipped.

DO I RECEIVE A TRACKING NUMBER?

Yes! Your tracking number will be sent to you via email when your item has been shipped.

What is your shipping policy?

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment with VISA, Mastercard and PayPal.

ONCE I PLACE MY ORDER, CAN I CHANGE MY MIND?

Once an order is placed, we cannot change it as we may have started production! All orders already in production phase cannot be changed. However, once received you have the option of returning the item. Please refer to our Returns + Refund policy for more information.

Do you offer exchanges?

Yes! You must contact us within 5 days of receipt of items and return the item(s) to us within 14 days to be eligible.

The items must be returned in their original condition and in the original, undamaged packing or similar protective tube/box. We reserve the right to refuse any returns, that do not meet these terms. Please note that you are responsible for the shipping back to us.

Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to be processed once it is received by us.

Returns + Refunds

We hope that you are in love with your Milkshake Living purchase. We’re not happy unless you’re happy!

However, if for some reason you are not happy with your ‘returnable product’, you may return the product to us under the following terms:

Change of mind

You may return the returnable product for a full refund less shipping costs charged to us. You must contact us within 5 days of receipt of items and return the item(s) to us within 14 days to be eligible.

The items must be returned in their original condition and in the original, undamaged packing or similar protective tube/box. We reserve the right to refuse any returns, that do not meet these terms. Please note that you are responsible for the shipping back to us.

You can request a refund, exchange or credit note by emailing us at hello@milkshakeliving.com. Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to be processed once it is received by us.

Limited edition, custom and original art

Limited edition prints, custom made products and original art cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind.

If for any reason you are not 100% happy with your purchase, please contact us so that we can discuss your concerns. If your item is faulty, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of item.

No responsibility will be taken for any damage to the item suffered during shipping. For this reason, we suggest you consider insurance. However, please contact us so that we can work out any problems.

Sale items

Sale items are final and non refundable, except as required by Australian Consumer Law. If your item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.

Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

Faulty products

If you believe your item is faulty, you need to contact us within 5 days of receipt of item describing the fault. This is governed by the Australian Consumer Law. We guarantee that our products are:

(1) of acceptable quality;

(2) fit for the purpose it is intended; and

(3) matches the description or sample displayed.

If we agree with you that the item is faulty, we will either repair it, exchange it for a new item or refund you the purchase price.

Please note, that many of our items are handmade. If an item is handmade it will be noted in the product description. Handmade products may have inconsistencies that are not considered faults on these items.

How to return a product

The best thing to do is email us at hello@milkshakeliving.com with the following details:

(1) your order number and date;

(2) your contact details including full name, address, phone number and email;

(3) description of the problem;

(4) photo evidence of the problem; and

(5) whether you are requesting an exchange, return or credit note.

Once we receive your email, we will contact you within 3 business days.

‘Returnable Item’ means any full price item, not including limited edition prints, custom products and original art.

Common Questions

My print/frame has arrived damaged. What now?

We do no take responsibility for damage to the item once it has been shipped. However, we do our best to ship your order in a safe and secure way. If your order arrives damaged, please let us know straight away so we can help you solve the problem. It is at our discretion whether a replacement will be offered.

The best thing to do is email us at hello@milkshakeliving.com with the following details:

(1) your order number and date;

(2) your contact details including full name, address, phone number and email;

(3) description of the problem; and

(4) photo evidence of the problem.

Once we receive your email, we will contact you within 5 business days.

Important: Please make sure to take photos of both the package and the damaged product(s) 

I have received the wrong item. What now?

Please make sure to take photos of the wrong item and the packaging it arrived in and email hello@milkshakeliving.com within 3 business days.

An item is missing from my order. How do I get it?

First, please check your tracking link sent to you via email. If your order contains several items, it might have been shipped in more than one parcel. Since we make many of our products on demand, we ship them out as they are completed, so you don't have to wait!

If all parcels have been delivered, please email us with photos of what you received and the packaging it arrived in.

Do you charge GST or Sales tax?

We are a small business and currently not registered for GST.

*International buyers- Please be advised that local taxes and import duties may apply. This is not included in the shipping costs. Any import taxes and duties payable are the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office to get an idea of any duties or taxes that may apply.

We want to spread happiness with our products. If, on the off chance you have issues or concerns relating to your order, please know that we will do our very best to resolve it for you where we can. We are real people just like you, please remember to be kind.
